Munich, December 9, 2025 – International AdTech start-up Flyby has successfully completed another round of financing to drive forward the series-ready rollout of its Smart Delivery Boxes in Dubai, Munich, and other markets. The fully functional, street-legal Smart Delivery Boxes are already in regular operation on the streets of Dubai and in initial fleets in Munich, where they are being scaled up in collaboration with leading delivery platforms.

After several years of pilot projects in multiple cities, Flyby's patented Smart Delivery Box has reached market maturity and is now being produced in growing numbers. In Dubai and Munich, the boxes are already in daily delivery traffic, transforming delivery vehicles into cloud-enabled IoT units with digital exterior displays, real-time tracking, and telemetry.

Combining approved vehicle hardware, integrated sensors, geo-tracking, and remotely controllable LED displays, the solution is fully market-ready and tested for daily road use. The visibility of the Smart Delivery Boxes in the cityscapes of Dubai and Munich underscores the market acceptance of the product and forms the basis for further rollouts in other international cities.

The new round of financing will be used in particular for the industrial scaling of production and the further rollout of additional series boxes in Dubai, Munich, and the wider MENA and EU regions. In addition, the funds will be used to further develop the cloud-based platform, data-driven functions (telemetry, campaign analytics), and expand the partner network with delivery and e-commerce platforms.

Within the next few weeks, Flyby plans to significantly increase the number of Smart Delivery Boxes deployed in the United Arab Emirates and to transition existing pilot projects into long-term commercial collaborations and partnerships. This will leverage the existing fleet deployment to further scale the business model as a combined AdTech and analytics platform.

“With the Smart Delivery Boxes now ready for series production and visible on the streets of Dubai and now also in Munich, Flyby has reached a decisive milestone – the current financing round picks up exactly where this leaves off and enables the next leap in scaling. A fascinating international success story, made in Germany,” say transaction experts Dr. Simon Sabel and Marc Wiesner.

Walberg & Cie. provided Flyby and its founders with comprehensive corporate law advice on structuring and implementing the follow-up financing round. The focus was on designing a growth-oriented investment structure, coordinating with an international group of investors, and contractually reflecting the series maturity that has now been achieved and the planned international scaling.
