The extended deduction for real estate companies represents a significant tax break for real estate management companies and other commercial landlords. However, increased attention is required, particularly in the first year.

On the occasion of a decision by the Berlin-Brandenburg tax court, our partners Manuel Brühl and Dr. Sebastian Binder have highlighted the most important aspects and some structuring approaches in the current issue of GStB (2025, p. 140).
